Gutshaus Glocksin (Glocksin Hall)
Opposite the small church, a two minute walk from the house, lies an idyllic lake suitable for swimming.
Glocksin, Neverin, Deutschland
Probably built around 1850, the manor house used to be the residence of the Seip family. In 1791, privy councillor and minister Anton Ludwig Seip acquired the Glocksin estate from cavalry captain von Rieben auf Ihlenfeld.
After 1945, the property was lost to the state. After that, it was initially used as refugee accommodation and private residences.
Today, the approximately 42×14,5 metre spanning mansion is nestled into a well-tended park. From the large green in front of the hall you have a wonderful view of the pentagonal half-timbered church built in 1805.
Opposite the small church, a two minute walk from the house, lies an idyllic lake suitable for swimming.
The house itself, renovated in 2004, was built on the foundations of an earlier building and sports an extension added in 1925.
The estate is privately owned and houses rental apartments.
